Drunk as he was, a 27-year-old from Dorfen did not want to be found at the scene of the accident.
But the police finally found him at home.
Dorfen
– After a bang, a woman from Dorfen rushed to an accident site on Buchbacher Straße at around 3.25 a.m. on Saturday.
A car crashed into a tree at Ludwig-Thoma-Straße.
According to the police, the driver had already fled on foot.
The officers then met the vehicle owner at home.
The breath alcohol test was positive for the 27-year-old from Dorfen, which is why blood was taken at the Dorfen hospital.
It must now be determined whether the man's intoxication was the reason he lost control of the car.
The car was a total loss, the third-party damage is 1000 euros.
Around the same time, a 22-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle near Unterstollnkirchen, which veered off the road to the right.

In the accident, the car touched two traffic signs and drove across a meadow back onto the road.
The 22-year-old then left the scene of the accident, and his vehicle suffered property damage of around 20,000 euros.
