Several more bodies were reportedly found in cars damaged by the shelling on a nearby road, which was blocked by the retreating Russian army.

Hundreds of families from the area reported that their loved ones were missing during the fighting but due to the chaos prevailing it is difficult to know who fled the area, who was killed in the shelling and who was abducted and killed, like the dead found in mass graves near the capital Kyiv.
