Frankfurt – Commuters in Frankfurt* need patience on Monday morning (04/11/2022).
Traffic jams can occur in the city and on the surrounding motorways.
"In connection with meetings, there may be temporary disruptions in traffic," writes the Frankfurt police on Twitter, as reported by fnp.de *.
Activists of the self-proclaimed "last generation" are responsible for the disturbances, who sat on the road on the motorway near the Katharinenkreisel or even stuck themselves, a police spokesman told the dpa.
The A648 between Frankfurt-Rödelheim and Westkreuz Frankfurt was temporarily blocked, as reported by the Hessenschau.
Traffic was diverted.

Traffic at the Katharinenkreisel is now running smoothly again, as the Frankfurt police reported on Twitter at around 10:20 a.m.
However, there should now be a backlog on the A66 near Miquelallee in the direction of the city.
Activists of the so-called "last generation" have announced that they have blocked the highway.
The activists only want emergency vehicles to pass.
