Again basement fire: arson not yet stopped

Despite intensive investigations by the police, the series of arson attacks in Berlin-Spandau has apparently not ended yet.
On Sunday evening there was another fire in the basement of a large apartment building in the Obstallee in the Staaken district, according to the fire brigade.
The junk was on fire and the fire was quickly extinguished.
30 firefighters were therefore in action.
Berlin – Since late summer and autumn 2022, fires have been repeatedly set in the area, mostly in the basements of high-rise buildings.
The police assume arson by one or more perpetrators.
In March, Interior Senator Iris Spranger (SPD) spoke of 75 deeds, and the number is now significantly higher.

The police used their own investigative team called "Quartier".
Undercover criminal investigators and uniformed patrol officers are in the area.
A reward of 1000 euros was offered.
There were also arrests, but the perpetrator or perpetrators have apparently not yet been caught.
