A new rollout for a mini car is a welcome thing.
It seems that most manufacturers are now concentrating on presenting electric and relatively expensive models, abandoning the cheap and simple car.
In a world that seeks to earn as much as possible with as little effort as possible, small and fairly cheap cars have disappeared from the environment.
So there is room to praise Toyota and rejoice towards the latest incarnation of the little Igo.
Despite all that has been said here, the reality is a little more complicated than that.

Quite a few praises can be shared here.
First of all, this is a brand new Toyota with a 5-digit price tag attached to it.
Not a trivial matter, especially when you consider the power of this brand in the local market and in general.
More praise, going for the mechanical base.
This is not some archaic platform that has been stretched to fit its new role.
The Igo X base is based on the new Yaris, with the base being reduced to fit the new designation.
On the same basis a very successful design work was done.
The ego looks good, with almost no mourning.
That says something about the excellent ride quality with ride comfort immeasurably superior to the previous one.
The advanced base also allows for a complete list of advanced safety equipment.
Also when it comes to road customs, if it's the driving, the way it responds to a variety of roads, and again the Igo X suspension calibration is very impressive, both in front of mini cars (there are still a few left) and probably compared to the previous Igo.
In many ways, the Aigo X brings to this market something that does not exist in it.
After the list of accolades that definitely comes to Toyota here, there are also some claims.
The first is directed to the engine.
At Toyota, this car is mostly aimed at the crowded volume streets, and it definitely feels that way.
And if we go back to the engine we will find here a unit with three cylinders, the one that served the previous Igo.
At Toyota they abandoned the single-clutch robotic gearbox (and it's good that way) and opted for a continuous gearbox.
The advantages of this box is a rounder and smoother operation compared to the robotic gears around.
But the nature of its operation, puts the engine on high and noisy RPM under load.
Bottom line this is a recreationally designed mini car with a Toyota logo on the front.
For less than NIS 100,000, the audience will welcome her.
On the other hand, it is significantly more expensive than other mini cars on the market (less impressive) or close to super-mini cars (better).
So the quality base and great design definitely has a price.
