Surprise in the finale of "Love Island" 2022 on RTL2 on Tuesday evening: Jennifer and Nico win the grand finale and secure the 50,000 euro prize money.

Presenter Sylvie Meis announced the winning couple on TV late in the evening.

A total of 22 Islanders featured in the second spring season of the dating show.

Six of them are in the grand finale with "Love Island" presenter Sylvie Meis.

“One of you belongs to the winning couple, to the €50,000 couple.

"I'll take the top envelope," says Jennifer when it comes to the prize money of €50,000.

And with that, the 23-year-old proves she has a good hand, because the money is in her envelope.

"How deep is your love?

Would you like to share the money with Nico in love or keep it for yourself?” Asks Sylvie Meis.

Jennifer doesn't hesitate for a second: "I can give him the whole envelope, I don't care.

I've won more than here.

And what's next …

“With regard to our future, we have already planned everything in detail.

I'll fly back with her straight away, so we'll have a few days to ourselves and we'll see each other straight away the weekend after that," explains Nico.

"We've already made a game plan of what everything should look like in the future, when it's best to move in together.

I want to get out of Saarland anyway.
