The heads of the Eretz Israel lobby in the Knesset informed the Knesset officer this evening (Monday) that they plan to visit Yosef's tomb during the night.
Their announcement comes after two days in which the compound was vandalized by Palestinians, as well as being wounded by gunfire from two Breslav followers who entered the compound located in Nablus.
Central Command General Yehuda Narkis rejected the request of the heads of the lobby, MKs Yoav Kish (Likud) and Orit Struck (Religious Zionism).

The heads of the lobby told the Knesset officer that they plan to gather at 11:30 PM at the entrance gate in Har Bracha and from there move in the direction of the holy compound.
After their request was denied, they turned to Superintendent Yuval Chen and demanded that he act before the Commander-in-Chief, who would comply with the instructions of the Knesset Attorney General and set an alternative date for their entry into the grave.
"In response to our request regarding the entry of Knesset members to the Tomb of Yosef Hatzadik, we were informed that the Commander of the Central Command will not be able to allow this entry. "Immunity, harm to the performance of their role as elected officials in general, and their role in the field of parliamentary oversight in particular," they wrote.
"In the opinion of the Knesset Legal Adviser, Adv. Sagit Afik, the Commander-in-Chief should suggest an alternative date for the visit as soon as possible.
Needless to say, at the moment we have not yet been contacted to set a new date. "
