Pullman transporting passengers on the Latakia-Aleppo line at the entrance to the city of Maarat al-Numan was burnt as a result of a technical failure in the engine, which led to the fire in the fuel tank of the Pullman and its complete combustion, and the damages were limited to material.
The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement that SANA received a copy of today that the Khan Sheikhoun Public Roads Police and the Civil Defense Forces attended immediately and evacuated the passengers from the Pullman, and the fire was extinguished and the road was opened for traffic.
