The detention of the ultra-Orthodox activist Chona Deitch was extended today (Monday) by four days.
This, after the suspicion against him of committing sexual offenses and rape increased.
In recent days, another 45-year-old public figure in ultra-Orthodox society has filed a complaint with Deitch, a well-known public figure in the ultra-Orthodox society, on suspicion of committing rape.
The police representative said during the hearing in the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court today that Deitch is indeed recognized as a "man of kindness" but clarified that "in some cases kindness is not of truth, but of reward." Truth, that a person goes to a funeral and does not expect a return and it is a grace of truth and not that he tells the victims that they owe him.
"I'm talking about a method here, Deitch locates weak women who need help and exploits it without their consent and desire to commit sexual offenses."
His lawyer Roi Brauner claims that there is no evidence of offenses on the part of Deitch: "The Israel Police did not present to the court any evidence of an offense by my client, but refutes previous allegations, which show that a woman whom my client does not know is behind this defamation campaign. "That my client's innocence will soon be published and he will be able to return to the enterprise of grace he heads."

The suspicions against Deitch were first published on social media by ultra-Orthodox bloggers during the month of January.
Deitch fled to Ukraine, and returned a few days later.
Last week, three months later, he was arrested and reported for questioning without his mobile device.
During the interrogation he denied what was attributed to him.
According to police, Deitch committed the offenses over the years and in a systematic pattern of action.
Following the giving of evidence in the case, there is also a fear of disrupting investigative moves.
Jerusalem Magistrate's Court Judge Zion Sahrai noted that there was a reasonable suspicion that the offenses had been committed.
The suspect, Hanna Deitch, is an ultra-Orthodox activist known in the ultra-Orthodox sector as the "man of grace," who worked for needy families and people with disabilities.
