In 2022, it's time for audacity and hair experimentation on the hairstyle side.
After taking care of our hair for more than two years behind our screens, it's time to bring it out into the open, taking inspiration from the looks optimistically driven by the creators.
The trendy haircuts of 2022
On the catwalks, two extremes oppose each other.
On the one hand, the extra-long haircuts that go down radically to the waist (Versace, Burberry, Coperni, Chanel...).
On the other hand, ultra-short bob cuts that just graze the mandibular line.
Their common points?
Perfectly graphic and linear shapes, while the tips are sharp, almost “sharp”.
Another dominant particularity: numerous games of asymmetry which give them movement and allure, whatever the length chosen (as at Fendi, Loewe, Alexandre Vauthier, Coperni...).
Other more rebellious looks stand out on the catwalk.
Omnipresent, the famous mullet cut imposes itself once again this year at Hermès, Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Acne, Elie Saab, Diesel or even Rick Owens.
Its new popular version, the “octopus” cut, is also making its debut this spring.
After conquering celebrities, this “octopus cut” imitating the shape of the marine animal has already been spotted at DSquared2 and Burberry.

Side styling (or not) in folds, two parties also stand out.
On the one hand, the ultra-smooth and silky “liquid hair” style, as seen in the Versace, Burberry and Chanel fashion shows.
