"Fierce": Europa-Park imposes a surcharge for spontaneous visitors

Anyone who spontaneously decides to visit Europa-Park will have to dig deeper into their pockets from now on.
There is a surcharge of six euros for tickets that have not been purchased online in advance.

This increases the admission price for adults in the high season to up to 68 euros, for children to 59.50 euros per person, as reported by BW24*.
Park fans sometimes reacted disappointed to the announcement.
"It's a shame, because people aren't thought of who have to save for a long time to be able to treat their children and themselves to a great break," commented a Facebook user under a report by

"Previously, people drove spontaneously to the amusement park - full of anticipation.
Today you have to get an e-ticket in advance - where's the fun in that?"

Other fans cannot understand the step either.
"Bye bye, Europa-Park," says someone.
"Instead of queuing for hours for the money, I'd rather take the money and go to the Allgäu with the kids for a few days." Outraged, another user agrees: "They're going crazy.
A large family and average earners can no longer afford that.”
While other users find the surcharge "heavy" or "really weak", others defend the operator's decision.
"What's the problem?" someone asks.
"Buy the tickets online and save six euros per person." Others refer to parks like Disneyland, which have long since taken the step.
Increased personnel costs could also be the reason, as one fan suspects: "From October, the minimum wage will be increased to twelve euros.
You just have to make sure that you can pay your employees.”
The Europapark visit will be more expensive again in the 2022 season compared to the previous year.

When visiting in the new season, Europa-Park fans will also have to dig deeper into their pockets for the parking spaces*.
