This pie is a take on the favorite pasta pastry, only this time the pasta is replaced by noodles - wide rice noodles that together with tuna, onion, mushrooms and yellow cheese create a golden, rich and delicious gluten-free pastry.

Ingredients

    • 1 pack Rice noodles, wide rice noodles (250-300 g)

    • 2 tablespoons olive oil

    • 1 medium onion, chopped

    • 2 cloves crushed garlic

    • 2 chopped celery stalks

    • 1 basket of champignon mushrooms cut into cubes

    • 1 handful of chopped herbs ((parsley / coriander / basil / green onion)

    • 2 cans of tuna in filtered olive oil

    • 1 teaspoon salt

    • ¼ A pinch of ground black pepper

    • Spicy potatoes (optional)

    • 1 can sweet cream (250 ml)

    • 2 eggs

    • 1 cup grated yellow cheese + a little more to spread before baking

Preparation

How to make rice noodle pie with tuna?

  • 1 Cook the wide rice noodles according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  • 2 Preheat oven to 180 degrees and lightly grease a medium-sized pan.

  • 3 Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the onion, garlic and celery for about 5 minutes while stirring until lightly golden.

  • 4 Add the mushrooms and continue to fry while stirring for another 4 minutes until they begin to shrink.

    Transfer the contents of the pan to a large bowl.

  • 5 Add the herbs, tuna, spices, cooking cream, eggs and cheese to the bowl and mix well.

  • 6 Transfer the mixture to a pan and flatten.

    Sprinkle over the bread crumbs and another handful of grated yellow cheese and bake for 20 minutes or until the pastry is golden.

    Serve immediately.
