G7 opponents are planning protest camps and demos for the summit at Schloss Elmau - they are demanding more climate protection and more help for poorer countries from the industrialized countries.
Garmisch-Partenkirchen – Protests are planned in various places in Bavaria for the G7 summit at Schloss Elmau at the end of June.
The meeting takes place mainly because of the situation in Ukraine without Russia.
Between June 6th and 29th, climate activists and other groups critical of the summit are planning actions in the district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen and in Munich, as the action alliance "Stop G7 Elmau" announced on Tuesday.
The alliance runs under the same name as at the G7 summit in 2015, which also took place at Schloss Elmau near Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

G7 protest actions: district office assumes thousands of participants
However, there is still a need for coordination at the various events, according to the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district office.
This also applies to three long-term rallies for a total of 2500 participants who were registered weeks ago.
From June 25th to 28th there will be protests from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the train stations in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Mittenwald and in the Krün district of Klais.
