Hauts-de-France airports: new destinations for getting away from it all this summer

From Lille to Brussels, the favorite airports of the inhabitants of Hauts-de-France will make it possible this summer to reach the beaches of Split, Miami, Agadir or Menorca directly.


Far from the stress, the congestion and the price of car parks in the major Parisian platforms, planning your departure on vacation from a regional airport can allow you to save time and money.

After Brittany, and Toulouse, focus on the new direct flights which open for the summer of 2022 from the favorite airports of the inhabitants of Hauts-de-France.

From the two Brussels platforms to the new Volotea base in Lille-Lesquin, via the most low-cost Beauvais airport: many new connections will allow you to reach the sun this summer.

From Lille-Lesquin airport: Varna, Heraklion and Split directly

50 direct flights on the program, including a dozen new or repeat flights: the summer news is loaded at Lille-Lesquin airport.

Starting with the low-cost Spanish company

Volotea

, which inaugurated its new French base there on April 1.

An Airbus A319 will be parked on the Lille tarmac to operate 16 routes, including 6 new ones:

  • Split (Croatia):

    from May 8 with one flight per week.


  • Varna (Bulgaria):

    from May 17, one flight per week.


  • Calvi:

    from June 4, one flight per week.


  • Palermo (Italy):

    from May 27, one flight per week.


  • Majorca (Spain):

    from May 16, one flight per week.


  • Cagliari (Italy):

    from June.

Volotea has also just resumed its domestic flights from

(4 to 6 flights per week).

Also note the opening of a flight in October 2022 between Lille and

SEVERAL NEW CONNECTIONS OR RESUMES FLIGHTS ARE ALSO TO BE NOTED FROM LILLE:

  • Heraklion (Greece):

    by the Greek company Sky Express, one flight per week every Sunday until October 2.


  • Majorca (Spain):

    by easyJet, from May 1, 2 flights per week.


  • Marseille:

    by Transavia, since March 27.

Finally, note the resumption, after two years in slow motion, of the programs of the Belgian company TUI Fly (19 destinations from Lille to Greece, Spain, Morocco and Portugal), but also of Air Algérie flights to Algiers from April 12 (4 flights per week).

    Last winter, flights to Curacao (Air Belgium) and Havana (TUI Fly) had already opened to the Caribbean.


  • Ohrid (North Macedonia):

  • Kalamata (Greece):

    with Aegan.

From Brussels-Charleroi airport: 20 new Ryanair lines

Giving pride of place to low-cost airlines,

Brussels-Charleroi

airport is appreciated by travelers from Hauts-de-France for its fares and its bus services from the major northern cities.

From spring 2022 and for the entire summer season, 20 new routes will be launched there, all operated by the ultra low-cost Irish company

From Paris-Beauvais airport: 13 new Ryanair lines

Located in the Oise in the town of Tillé, the 10th French airport in terms of passengers is also seeing its share of new low-cost lines (traffic on which it depends almost 100%) from this month of April.
