A man has been roped off a construction crane after protesting against his dismissal.

To protest against his dismissal, a man climbed onto a construction crane in Hof.
A special task force had to secure and rappel him down.
Hof – A special task force (SEK) had to secure and abseil a man on a construction crane in Hof on Tuesday morning (April 12).
A police spokesman told
News5
that the man "was a former employee of the construction company and fired him late last year."
Apparently, he climbed the 45-meter high crane to protest.

The police were alerted at around 7.15 a.m. because the man had climbed onto the construction crane near the Technical University of Hof.
At first, however, it was not clear why.
According to a report by

, he had a sign with him that read "I'm not garbage".

According to the spokesman, the SEK who had been added had first contacted the man by telephone and "recognized quite quickly that he was accessible and willing to talk".
He was then secured and roped down.

During his protest, the man contracted hypothermia and had to be medically checked.

probably awaiting him now .
The fire brigade, mountain rescue service and rescue service were also in action.
