Just before Passover, a final event of the second cycle of the PlayBeyondBio project in the field of digital health took place, which is jointly led by the British-Swedish pharma giant, Astraznica, the JVP venture capital fund, the international consulting giant Accenture, Margalit Startup City, Amazon Web Services and the Medical Center Justice in Jerusalem.

In the program's vision: Support for Israeli innovation in the field of digital health in order to address the significant challenges faced by the global health system, through the application of digital technologies and their access to the patient and the health system, in Israel and around the world.

The program focuses on promoting "digital health" in the practical and applied aspect by creating collaborations between startups and international pharma companies, investors, health institutions and international high-tech leaders.

Combining the strengths of a pharmaceutical company, a consulting and integration company, a venture capital fund, technology companies and hospitals together with startup companies have enabled the creation of a supportive shell that helps shatter the local glass ceiling and allows companies participating in the program to break into the global market.

The main support of the program is to identify the challenges that have been identified as most significant for Israeli startups, such as validating the solution with global customers, developing a sustainable business model, integrating solutions into healthcare systems outside Israel, using databases and thinking about ways to reach the market.

During the second cycle of the program, which lasted 6 months, 8 startups selected from 100 candidates participated.

The companies have partnered with global AstraZenica executives to implement their technologies jointly in Europe, the US, Canada and Israel, have been strategically accompanied by the product and market penetration by JVP, and have worked with Accenture and AWS to ensure their technological infrastructure is ready. - scale up on a global scale and in accordance with different health systems.
