Labrador bitch stolen in front of the gym: search campaign on Instagram reaches hundreds of animal lovers

The shock is great when Tia is suddenly gone and it quickly becomes clear: The dog has been stolen, a major search begins - but in the end the four-legged friend is found by fellow Toni.

Haidhausen – Tia is in front of the gym and is waiting for her mistress.

This is a well-established procedure between the three-year-old Labrador-Münsterländer mix and Florine Lutz.

This time, Tia was waiting with her dog sitter in the studio on Balanstraße.

Florine Lutz was in Dublin at the time.

What happened next, no one knows for sure.

Anyway, Tia was gone when the minder came back from the gym.

The whole night there was a search, whistles and questions - but Tia was nowhere to be found.

It quickly became clear: the bitch had been stolen.

When Florine Lutz found out about the disappearance of her beloved dog, she did everything to find Tia again: she reported her dog to the police as missing, called police stations, veterinary practices and taxi drivers, offered a finder's fee of 1,000 euros, and hung flyers everywhere a photo of Tia and starts a search campaign on Instagram under the hashtag "bringiahome".

“One person cannot walk all of Munich.

But many people can open their eyes, tell others, post it," says Lutz of the Süddeutsche Zeitung.

The campaign was a success, her post was shared more than 3,000 times, and she received hundreds of requests from strangers who wanted to help her.

In the end, a dog finds the dog: four-legged friend Toni convicts the thief

Florine Lutz can no longer sleep and work.

All her thoughts circle and her bitch.

She is sure that Tia did not run away but was stolen.

The bitch is always extremely obedient and comes back to her mistress.

Lutz has almost given up hope and has just arrived in Munich from Dublin, disillusioned, when the unbelievable happens.

Her friend is walking in Haidhausen with Tia's best dog friend Toni when she suddenly becomes restless and wants to play with a brown dog.

But then he suddenly starts running and leaves Tia behind.

The two bitches play and Florine Lutz receives the relieving news.
