Over the past week, the popular Battle Royale game Fortnite, Epic Games has announced an extensive collaboration with Lego in which the two will build a secure virtual space that will give players tools to build their own interactive projects - most likely Lego blocks and building and creation modes in games Like Fortnight.

Epic Games is now releasing another statement that it is slowly moving towards its goal, and it is raising about $ 2 billion in a round of fundraising invested by the global Sony company, and the investment fund KIRKBI - owned by the Christensen family, which originally founded the global Lego company.

Each of the two donated about $ 1 billion for the ambitious project.

The investment comes a week after Epic Games released the next-generation new game engine it developed, Unreal 5 for free download, and now it can be said the opening shot was shot and now developers from large, independent studios can start developing the next-generation games, featuring more extensive and impressive graphics improvements.

This does not leave much room for doubt, and it is very likely that the planned Mowers will be developed and built in the Unreal 5.

This is not the first time Sony has put its trust in Epic Games, and during 2020 it invested about $ 250 million and acquired percentages in Epic Games and Unreal 5. This move allowed Sony to deepen its exclusive partnership with Epic Games which will encourage the creation of exclusive content for the PlayStation consoles to be developed for the new generation.

Although no further details were provided about the planned Epic Games Lego meteors, it can be concluded that the ambitious project will in some ways be reminiscent of games like Minecraft or even Roblox - which offers an online game creation platform but suffers quite a bit of criticism. A safe and creative space for children in particular.
