Palmyra-Sana
A citizen working on an excavator was killed by the explosion of a landmine left behind by the terrorist organization (ISIS) in the Palmyra desert in the eastern countryside of Homs.
SANA's reporter stated that a landmine left by ISIS terrorists exploded this evening at a water wells rig in the Al-Biyarat area in the vicinity of Palmyra, seriously injuring the excavator worker, which later led to his death and damage to the excavator.
The reporter pointed out that the worker was transferred to Karm Al-Lawz Hospital in Homs, but he died as a result of his serious injury.
The engineering units of the Syrian Arab Army are continuing the operations of combing and clearing the areas liberated from terrorist organizations throughout the country and removing mines and explosive devices that the terrorists have planted and hidden in residential neighborhoods, agricultural lands and roads to inflict the greatest number of victims, destroy property and intimidate the people.
