The embroideries are made of recycled polyester on the lining and the toe part and the reinforcements on the heel part.

The collaboration that running lovers have been waiting for is finally here: Adidas and Allbirds have teamed up to create a new shoe called the Adizero Running that has a super low carbon footprint, the lowest of any brand to date.

The Adizero x Allbirds 2.94 kg CO2e has the total product carbon footprint of production right in the name.

The shoe uses Allbirds eucalyptus tree fiber and Adidas PrimeGreen sustainable and recyclable materials for the upper, Allbirds EVA SweetFoam (made with sugar cane) and Adidas Lightstrike EVA outsole.

In addition, the embroideries are made of recycled polyester on the lining and the toe part and the reinforcements on the heel part.

Plus, the men's and women's shoe won't weigh you down during a run either.

The shoe is available in a limited-edition Allbirds-exclusive colorway, featuring a white exterior with multi-color stitching and both brand logos on the sides.

They're available for sale now so be sure to shop for what's new from Allbirds on their site or on the Allbirds app for iOS before this special edition shoe goes out of stock.
