Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Bashar Al-Jaafari affirmed the strength of the friendship and cooperation relations between Syria and the DPRK, which are considered an advanced model for solid and solid bilateral relations.
While extending his congratulations to the Embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Syria on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the birth of the late President (Kim Il Sung), Al-Jaafari made it clear that Syria seeks to strengthen these distinguished relations between the two countries, which date back to the era of the late great leaders (Hafez al-Assad, Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-un). Al-Jaafari praised the continuous efforts of the Korean state in building its own capabilities for self-defense and the civilizational, political, scientific, cultural and economic achievements of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, stressing strongly Syria's position in support of the principle of unity of the Korean Peninsula and the Korean people.
For his part, Mr. Kim Hee Ryun, Chargé d'Affairs of the DPRK Embassy praised the wise policy of the Syrian leadership, stressing his country's support for Syria in its just struggle to preserve its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and at the same time expressing his country's pleasure for all the successes achieved by the Syrian state in eliminating terrorism and restoring security. stability, economic development and reconstruction.
