Joe Biden's slips of the tongue are increasing.

Now he has mused without context of "prostitutes".

Washington, DC - US President Joe Biden* gave a somewhat strange press conference.

In the Rose Garden of the White House, Biden spoke about stricter gun laws – and suddenly, out of context, used the word prostitute.

First, Biden sought a comparison between the arms and tobacco industries.

"Imagine if the tobacco industry were immune from prostitutes being sued," Biden said in the midst of his statement.

The 79-year-old probably wanted to talk about the lack of legal boundaries.

He apparently confused the word prosecution with prostitutes.

Joe Biden: 'Cognitively impaired Biden becomes a laughingstock'

Official White House video shows that Biden actually said those words.

Interesting: In the official transcript of Biden's speech, the slip of the tongue is slightly corrected, the word "prostitute" is not spelled out: "Imagine if the tobacco industry were immune to Prost- being sued."

Biden's slip of the tongue quickly garnered widespread attention on social media.

Internet users often discussed the reasons for his blunder.

Sky News Australia broadcast a clip of Biden's speech on YouTube, captioning it "Cognitively impaired Biden becomes a laughing stock after tobacco industry faux pas".

The video has 1.5 million views in just one day.

A number of conservative media also took up the story.

Not everything went smoothly in the Rosengarten, even far away from the slip of the tongue.

Biden* was inaccurate about gun laws and confused the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms with the American Federation of Teachers.

An agency subordinate to the Department of Justice with a union.

The Republican-leaning Miami Standard wrote: "Biden's comments made some Americans who are worried about the president's cognitive abilities shake their heads."

Joe Biden: Always blunders - bitter poll

Biden is currently causing dropouts in press statements.

Most recently, the 79-year-old said that he would soon be celebrating his "58th birthday".

birthday”.

He forgot the Australian Prime Minister's name and just called him the "guy from down under".

And: With his “escalation of words”, as Emmanuel Macron put it, he made for a not exactly happy crisis diplomacy*.

Biden said “goddamn” Vladimir Putin “shouldn’t be president anymore.”

He also referred to him as a "butcher".

The irritations were loud.

Does Biden want to depose Putin?

The White House had to backtrack, at least publicly.

In the Ukraine war*, such linguistic deficiencies seem much more serious than a comparatively amusing “prostitute” slip of the tongue.

Every word can have consequences.

Biden, for example, said to US soldiers that they would “see the backbone” of Ukraine “when you are there.” That too can definitely be interpreted as meddling in the war*.

Here, too, Biden finally rowed back.

Everything half as wild?

The impression of a "senile man", as Donald Trump* has always discredited the 79-year-old, somehow remains - even in the US population.

According to a recent poll by The Washington Post and US broadcaster ABC News, 54 percent of those polled do not believe that Biden "possesses the mental acuity needed to effectively exercise the presidency."
