Two months after the death of Jérémie Cohen in Bobigny (Seine-Saint-Denis), two men were placed in police custody on Tuesday April 12 after surrendering themselves to the authorities, we learned this Wednesday from the prosecution, confirming information from BFMTV.

In the early evening of February 16, the 31-year-old Jewish man with a slight disability was hit by a tram when he had just been attacked by several individuals.
Quickly, doubts had been expressed as to the anti-Semitic nature of the attack and a controversy had broken out.

Faced with this avalanche of political reactions, the Bobigny prosecutor Eric Mathais spoke in the process to indicate that the investigation did not allow at this stage to establish "
discriminatory reasons
" in the death of the young man.
