Death of Jérémie Cohen in Bobigny: two men in police custody after surrendering

The 31-year-old Jewish man was killed on February 16 in Bobigny, hit by a tram when he had just been attacked by a gang of young people.


Two months after the death of Jérémie Cohen in Bobigny (Seine-Saint-Denis), two men were placed in police custody on Tuesday April 12 after surrendering themselves to the authorities, we learned this Wednesday from the prosecution, confirming information from BFMTV.

In the early evening of February 16, the 31-year-old Jewish man with a slight disability was hit by a tram when he had just been attacked by several individuals.

Quickly, doubts had been expressed as to the anti-Semitic nature of the attack and a controversy had broken out.

Several leading political figures then stepped up to the plate:
