The face of the student Sofía Morales has occupied this Wednesday the Paseo de la Reforma, in Mexico City.
The 17-year-old teenager died last Friday after having a drink in a bar in the Doctores neighborhood, in the center of the capital.
Another of her friends was also poisoned in the same place and was hospitalized until Tuesday.
The death of this high school student from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) has generated a wave of indignation among young women: "We can no longer feel safe anywhere," says her classmate Nahomí, who has participated in a protest together another hundred people.
The bar where the events occurred has been closed while the Prosecutor's Office investigates the death under the femicide protocol.

“She is very outrageous.
It was her first party.
It could have been any of us,” says the teenager.
Morales was a student at UNAM Vidal Castañeda y Najera High School 4.
With good grades, she wanted to go to college to study arts.
Last Friday she had her graduation party to celebrate the end of classes.
It was at the Marvelous bar, located on the edge of Cuauhtémoc Avenue, which separates the Roma neighborhood from Doctores.
At one point in the night, Morales and one of her friends passed out after ingesting a drink.
Two companions called the ambulance and accompanied them to the nearest hospital.
Morales arrived at the medical center without vital signs.
The other teenager – whose identity she has not disclosed – was admitted in serious condition, but she was discharged yesterday after being out of danger.

The death has
shocked
the younger students.
Everyone has their prom these days and uncertainty has taken over everything.
Three weeks ago, another 15-year-old student was allegedly intoxicated and sexually abused at the National Polytechnic Institute preparatory school.
“Nowhere are we safe.
We already distrust everything, we can't trust our close circle either," says Sofía Montalbo, 17, from High School 8. "It generates a lot of fear, because you can't be sure that you're going to return home," says Renata Flores. , 16, who has been accompanied by her older sisters.
“How much did they want to do to drug them all?” asks Andrea Flores, 23 years old.
Her friends say that Sofia Morales was a great skater, brave and warrior, who wanted to be a designer.
This morning they have distributed their illustrations of women fighting for the most emblematic avenue of the capital.
In circles and worried, the adolescents ask: “If we don't do it for her, who will do it when it happens to us?”.
The Mexico City Prosecutor's Office has already started the investigations and has taken statements from the first witnesses, Jorge Morales, Sofía's brother, confirms to EL PAÍS.
The family still does not know the results of the autopsy.
“Nothing is going to bring my sister back to me, nor to my father, her daughter, but this is what she would have wanted,” says the young man, 23, whole and kind, about the protest.
“Sofi was always very activist, feminist.
She was afraid that her voice would not be heard and she is now screaming more than ever.”
