The Homs branch of the Vanguards of the Baath Organization today honored 120 students from the winners of the Pioneers of the Baath competitions at the level of Syria and the Homs branch for the year 2021 with various specializations within a ceremony that included poetic and artistic paragraphs, at the Abdul Hamid Al-Zahrawi Theater in Homs.
The Secretary of the Homs branch of the Baath Vanguards Khaled Janiyat said in a statement to SANA that the honoring constitutes an incentive for children and an appreciation for their excellence, pointing to the organization's goals in developing children's talents in various fields, supporting them and refining them.
In turn, Fouad al-Namra, a member of the Homs branch leadership, told Tala'a al-Baath, head of the theater, music and leadership office, "Today, 26 children from Homs were honored, who were winners at the level of Syria in various specializations and distinguished for leadership, and 94 children at the branch level from various schools in Homs and its countryside."
The children, Iman Ali, the winner at the level of Syria in the field of decoration, Mohab Ibrahim, the winner at the level of the Homs branch in Arabic calligraphy, Sarah Ibrahim, the winner at the branch level by playing the Buzuq instrument, and Zina Mashreqi, the winner at the branch level, expressed their pride in honoring and his role in encouraging them to provide the best.
Ghada Al-Darraj, the mother of the child, Zina Salama, who won the Syrian clarinet, pointed out the importance of supporting distinguished students and the role of the Vanguard Organization in revealing and supporting children's talents.
