Registered female nurses are suspected of conspiring with multiple people to "pretend to be injections". Six men and women from two families in the same case visited a community vaccination center 4 days before the implementation of the vaccine pass. Vaccination records, 7 people were charged with 2 counts of conspiracy to defraud the Department of Health. The case appeared in Kwun Tong Magistrates' Court today (13th). The defense requested an adjournment to obtain the prosecution documents and legal opinions. At a retrial on June 8, all defendants were released on bail.

7 defendants: He Jiawen (34 years old, registered nurse), Liao Kaiyin (42 years old, housewife), Xiao Xingyi (70 years old, housewife), Liao Guoxiong (67 years old, construction worker), Marcelo Mary Ann Villeza (39 years old, family Helper), Zheng Yayi (30 years old, tutor) and Zheng Siwei (25 years old, primary school teacher).
All were released on $1,000 bail and were not allowed to leave Hong Kong during the period, live at the reported address, and were not allowed to contact prosecution witnesses.
Among them, Liao Kaiyin, Xiao Xingyi, and Liao Guoxiong are a family of three, Xiao Xingyi and Liao Guoxiong are Liao Kaiyin's mother and father; and Zheng Yayi and Zheng Siwei are two sisters in another family.

The charge alleges that between January and February 20, 2022, the first five defendants conspired to defraud the Department of Health by dishonestly and falsely representing that Liao Kaiyin, Siu Xingyi, Liao Kwok-hung and Marcelo Mary Ann Villeza had received a dose of the vaccine, induce the Department of Health to issue vaccination records to them.
Another charge involves He Jiawen, Zheng Yayi and Zheng Siwei.
