Ride of Devastation: Man deals with ten criminal cases in just one night

In Osnabrück, a 33-year-old man managed on Saturday to be guilty of no fewer than 10 crimes in a colorful variety within one night.

Osnabrück – What happened on the night of Sunday (April 10) in Osnabrück, Lower Saxony, can only be described as ready for film, despite all due seriousness.

The thriller, which reached its climax around 2 a.m., includes a 33-year-old man, the Osnabrück police, a maltreated emergency doctor and, in the end, a total of ten crimes.

The emergency call, which reached the Osnabrück police at around 2 a.m., already divided the action that had taken place into two files.

Because before the 33-year-old, as the caller reported, had crashed his vehicle against a house wall, the man, who was drugged, had been up to mischief on the streets of Osnabrück and on his exhilarating ride in a borrowed car, a car, a Traffic lights, a barrier and even a wooden shed were badly damaged.

When the police reached the place where the journey ended so abruptly and finally, there was initially no trace of the perpetrator.

However, another emergency call soon provided clarity: the man, who did not have a driver's license, was rampaging in the entrance of a nearby apartment building.

When the officers wanted to take the 33-year-old into custody, he had little sympathy and vigorously defended himself, even kicking a police officer in the face.

As if the scenery hadn't been dramatic enough, then suddenly something happened that nobody expected: the 33-year-old suddenly collapsed and passed out.

After immediate resuscitation measures by the law enforcement officers, the perpetrator quickly regained consciousness and fell back into the displeasure that had already been shown, which was expressed at the climax of the event by the 33-year-old biting the arm of the emergency doctor who had meanwhile arrived.

Osnabrück: After a grotesque scene – police investigation uncovered further crimes

Since what they experienced gave the officers reason to take a closer look at the case, the police officers also found out a little later in the course of the investigation that the perpetrator not only picked up various forged identity documents in the hotel room he was staying in, but also “a large number of suspected Narcotics", according to the Osnabrück police, was stored there.

The perpetrator's 32-year-old girlfriend, who, like him, was not able to state a permanent address in Germany, was also staying in the premises.

After the interrogation of both people at the police station, almost 10 criminal proceedings were initiated.

The motive behind the incident is not yet known.
