In an accident in Grafrath, a man was trapped between his vehicle and a wall.
He was taken to a clinic.
Grafrath - The senior apparently wanted to push the car on Wednesday morning and then hop in.
The vehicle rolled down a sloping garage driveway and trapped the man between a wall and his vehicle, according to the fire department.
After minutes of calls for help, a neighbor became aware, reports the fire brigade.
She alerted the emergency services.

The fire brigade secured the vehicle against further rolling away.
A hydraulic rescue spreader was then used to create enough space between the vehicle and the wall so that the injured person could be freed.
He was treated by paramedics and then taken to a hospital.
According to the police, the 86-year-old was seriously injured in the accident.
The fire brigades from Grafrath and Schöngeising as well as the BRK with two ambulances and an emergency doctor and the police were in action.
