Alexis Brezet

President of the Jury, editorial director of Le Figaro.

Born August 24, 1962 in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne), Alexis Brézet is a graduate of the Institute of Political Studies in Paris, specializing in journalism.

After graduating, Alexis Brézet worked as a political journalist at Valeurs Actuelles from 1987 to 1990, then as Head of the Political Department from 1990 to 1994.

In 1994, he was appointed Editor-in-Chief for France until 1999, then became Deputy Managing Editor of Valeurs Actuelles, until 2000.

Alexis Brézet joined the Figaro Group in 2000, where until 2007 he was deputy editor-in-chief of Le Figaro, in charge of the political, society and science sections.

In 2007, Alexis Brézet was appointed Deputy Editorial Director of Figaro Magazine, then in 2008, Editorial Director.

On July 12, 2012, Alexis Brézet succeeded Etienne Mougeotte and became Editorial Director of the Figaro group.

Jacques Garcia

Architect, decorator, owner and restorer of the Château du Champ de Bataille

Jacques Garcia specializes in contemporary architecture, in particular by designing the interior concepts of the Montparnasse tower, the Meridian Hotels or even the Royal Monceau in Paris and the La Mamounia hotel in

Marrakech.

A collector of furniture and royal objects from the French Revolution, Jacques Garcia acquired the Château du Champ de Bataille in Normandy and undertook to restore it with his own style.

After more than a decade of works and investments, the castle has become both a museum and a castle.

Jacques Garcia is also a Commander in the Order of Arts and Letters and a Knight in the Order of the Legion of Honor.

Jean de Lambertye has been president of La Demeure Historique since January 2001. Olivier Marin
