Karlsruhe - The federal prosecutor's office has brought charges against a suspected right-wing terrorist from Hesse, who is said to have prepared attacks last summer.
The young man had already researched possible targets and produced a mixture with an explosive power "that achieved an efficiency roughly comparable to that of military explosives," the Karlsruhe authority said on Wednesday.
The trainee from a small town in the Schwalm-Eder district has been in custody since his arrest in mid-September.
The Attorney General took over the investigation shortly before the turn of the year.
The man is to be tried at the Frankfurt Higher Regional Court.

He is said to have planned to set up a Hessian offshoot of the "Atomic Weapons Division" (AWD) founded a few years ago in the USA, which propagates a "race war" with the murder of Jews, Muslims and officials.
The investigators accuse the man, among other things, of attempting to found a terrorist organization and preparing a serious act of violence that endangers the state.
