Renovations at dawn: In an unprecedented operation, the construction team of the Samaria Regional Council secretly entered the Joseph Tomb complex in Nablus early in the morning and renovated the tomb site.

The renovation of Yosef's tomb in broad daylight was done today for the first time since it was abandoned on the orders of then-Prime Minister Ehud Barak.

The extensive renovation is being carried out after dozens of Arab rioters from Nablus at the beginning of the week severely damaged the compound and burned it down.

The head of the Shomron Regional Council, Yossi Dagan, is leading the renovation of the site together with the staff of the Shomron Regional Council, the director of Tomb Yosef and the Holy Places near the Shomron Regional Council under the management of Nathaniel Snir, and the Har Kabir construction company from Elon Moreh.

Security and escorting were carried out by the Samaria Brigade under the command of Brigadier General Shomron Brigadier General Roi Zweig. The Central Commanding Officer Commander Lt. Gen.

Lieutenant Colonel Anan Debian Ramatak Nablus and Deputy Chairman of the Samaria Council Davidi Ben Zion.

During the renovation operation, a construction team from the Samaria Regional Council and the Har Kabir company rebuilt the parts of the stone monument of Yosef's tomb that were smashed and destroyed by the Arab rioters.

In addition, the team is repainting the tomb walls that were blackened after the fire, removing fragments and rubble, repairing the windows, replacing the damaged plumbing system and reinstalling the electrical system in place.

The head of the Shomron Regional Council, Yossi Dagan, explained: "This is a historic day. We arrived here at dawn, and in broad daylight, just before Independence Day, to restore the national honor of the people of Israel and the honor of Yosef Shholal. "They burn and destroy the tomb of Yosef the Tzaddik. They know that as long as the people of Israel from Israel and abroad - led by the settlement in Samaria, continue to visit its holy places and national heritage sites, they can not defeat us."

Dagan added: "Full of appreciation and love for the IDF soldiers and the security forces, under the command of Brigadier General Shomron Col. Roi Zweig, who accompany and secure this operation, which is all about restoring the honor of the people of Israel and the State of Israel." We are here to mend and to ensure that we never leave or despair.

"I demand that the government fully return the IDF to Yosef's tomb, to return the 'Od Yosef Chai' yeshiva to fully operate on the spot, only the people of Israel know how to ensure the preservation of its holy places." Dagan added: "I congratulate the dedicated staff of The renovations on the restoration of the tomb complex, call on the people of Israel to strengthen the Jewish settlement in Samaria and the Tomb of Joseph and continue to come in their thousands to visit here.

The people of Israel are alive, "Dagan concluded.

At the beginning of the movement, Col. Roi Zweig, Brigadier General of Samaria, gave the order to leave in connection with the fighters: This is "and we act today, in" Yad Rama "as our ancestors that on their departure from Egypt on Passover we celebrated another three days the scripture says" actually this day "! Not as thieves in the night, but as sons of kings Nablus".
