Attention fast-food lovers who commute to Stuttgart from the region every day: the smallest Burger King branch in the country has recently opened between platforms 8 and 9 at the main train station.
Stuttgart - Fast food fans had to be strong for a long time after the start of the renovation at Stuttgart Central Station.
With the construction work on the Bonatzbau, the Burger King and McDonald's chains also disappeared from the scene.
Now Burger King has returned – this time in mini format, as reported by BW24*.
The almost 20 square meter branch is located between platforms 8 and 9 and, according to the franchisee SSP, offers an "optimized range for train passengers".
"Stuttgart's main train station is the largest in Baden-Württemberg and our Burger King on the platforms is the smallest store," Wenzel Bürger, managing director for German-speaking countries at SSP, told the
Stuttgarter Nachrichten
.
Due to the limited space, the menu had to be reduced a bit.
From meat lovers to vegans, everyone will find something here.
From the burger to the train: The location of the Mini-Burger-King at the Stuttgart main station pleases commuters
In the first few days after the opening, small crowds of people regularly formed in front of the Burger King store, as observed

*.
Above all, travelers with a lot of luggage used the practical location to stock up for the upcoming train journey.
If you are in a hurry and want to treat yourself to a burger, you can buy food right next to the platform and can get to your train within seconds.
The “Burger King'le” is being celebrated on the Internet according to the motto “Small but mighty”.
"I think it's great," comments a user on Facebook.
"Drive-in for trains," jokes another.
Other users find the little Burger King “cute” or make references to Harry Potter.
A prankster dubbed the branch “Burger King 8 ¾”.
Another says, "The first person to run their luggage cart into it and yell 'fucking house elf' gets a free cheeseburger with no cheese."
Baden-Württemberg: This is where things get minimalistic
It's not just about fast food that's minimalist in the Ländle: Germany's smallest Ikea recently opened in Baden-Württemberg.
Dubbed a pop-up store, the 75 square meter store opened in February at the Gänsbühl Center in Ravensburg.
A miniature world has also recently opened in Stuttgart, which depicts the state capital in small format.*
