The head of the Russian National Center for Defense Affairs, Lieutenant-General Mikhail Mizintsev, revealed that the Ukrainian forces "developed mines in a dam on the Logan River on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic," noting that its detonation threatens to flood a city and several towns in the region.

"The city of Svetlodarsk, the towns of Mironovsky, Luganskoye and some other towns in the region will be at risk of inundation, with a total population of more than 15,000 people," Mizntsev was quoted by the RIA Novosti news agency as saying.

He added that this will damage all vital networks, including sewage, water pipes, water purification facilities and chemical warehouses, which will lead to a deterioration in the health situation and the spread of infectious diseases in the region.

Mezintsev also noted that "the neo-Nazis have laid mines on the railroad car road in the city of Konstantinovka," noting that "they are planning to blow up the road for the purpose of accusing the Russian military of destroying vital civilian infrastructure."

On the other hand, the Donetsk People's Republic announced the launch of a criminal case for the unauthorized collection of information by OSCE personnel.

Today, TASS news agency quoted the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Donetsk Republic, Natalia Nikonorova, as saying: "A criminal case has been opened regarding the fact that videos of Donetsk forces, industrial sites and other important sites were filmed via OSCE cameras."
