As Prime Minister and CSU boss, Markus Söder is a target for hostilities and fake news.
Now he apparently wanted to eliminate some rumors.
Munich – As a politician you need a thick skin.
This wisdom has not only existed since the corona pandemic.
But since then, threats and fake news have increased both online and in everyday life.
The most blatant example was the torch parade in front of the house of the Saxon Health Minister Petra Köpping (SPD) at the end of last year.
The Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU) is only slightly better off.
He has now cleared up rumors about him.

Markus Söder refutes various fake news about his private life
Actually, the head of state keeps a low profile when it comes to his private life.
But apparently now that he is at home in corona isolation he felt the need to comment on some rumours, fake news and attacks.
In the
Süddeutsche Zeitung
, for example, he said on Tuesday: "I've been living with severe threats and hatred and sometimes unfair fake news for two years."
He continued: "For example, that I supposedly no longer live at home, would have moved to a suburb of Nuremberg, the police would no longer be in front of the door for protection and the like." Söder emphasized: "All nonsense." He can handle it – but "all the threats and fake news are not easy for a family".

Markus Söder: "In addition to physical stability, you also need strong inner stability"
Söder
also spoke to
Bunten .
He spoke of a challenging time during the chancellor candidacy last year.
"This includes hate and hate speech with death threats and countless fake news," said the CSU boss.
Death threats are violent, “but fake news is also a burden.
For example, that I would move to another place, that I would no longer live at home.” Söder added: “In addition to physical stability, you also need strong inner stability.”
He had repeatedly reported that Söder was repeatedly subjected to death threats.
At CSU party conferences, for example, the Prime Minister quoted from anonymous letters with death threats and wild insults, which he regularly received - especially since the beginning of the corona pandemic.
The rumors that affect his private life and which have been circulating for some time – without any evidence – he had not yet made public.
