Occupied Jerusalem-SANA
The Supreme Committee for Church Affairs in occupied Palestine condemned the killings and field executions committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people.
The committee clarified in a statement, reported by Wafa Agency, that “the occupation killing and criminality machine penetrated the Palestinian blood without deterrence or accountability, as 17 martyrs were killed this month in an uncontrolled Israeli escalation that facilitates the spilling of Palestinian blood along the occupied Palestinian territories.”
The committee pointed out that the crimes of the occupation not only target the life of the Palestinian person, but also the Christian and Islamic holy sites, especially the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is subjected to daily violations and provocative tours by settler gangs under the protection of the occupation forces.
The committee called on international institutions, particularly the United Nations and the countries of the whole world, to intervene immediately to stop the criminal escalation of the Israeli occupation, curb its aggression against the Palestinians, and hold those responsible to account, stressing the right of the Palestinian people to achieve their legitimate and consistent goals, foremost of which is the establishment of their state with occupied Jerusalem as its capital.
For his part, Palestine's permanent representative to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, reiterated his call to the international community to take urgent measures to stop the systematic crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people and hold those responsible to account.
Mansour indicated that the occupation forces are escalating daily killings of Palestinians, as six Palestinians were killed by the Israeli forces' bullets during the past 24 hours, and 539 were arrested, including 62 children and 19 women, during the month of March alone, warning of the seriousness of the attacks launched by settlers in the Ibrahimi Mosque and Al-Aqsa Mosque. Blessed one.
Since the middle of last month, 24 Palestinians have been martyred, injured and arrested, as a result of the escalation of the Israeli occupation's aggression against the Palestinian people.
