Representatives of the police apologized today (Thursday) to the Kadouri family, upon learning of the identity of the terrorist who murdered Yehuda and Tamar in 2019. This, after immediately after the incident, among the detainees in the case were relatives of the Kadouri couple, and after their release a heavy cloud hovered over them.

"Emotions are very difficult," describes Adv. Shai Levy, who, together with Adv. Guy Maimon, represents the relatives.

"There was crying. A very difficult conversation, everything floats back. For three years they have been feeling persecuted, they did not understand why they were arrested and more in the hard grief they went through. On the other hand there is a sense of relief that the killer was caught. "But the police apologized to them."

The couple's daughter Kadouri said: "We want to digest our grief, my whole body is shaking. My heart is exploding and at the moment I am only thinking about my parents."

The Kadouri family members were informed last week that there was a development in the investigation of their parents' murder in 2019.

This morning, in a conversation with representatives of the Jerusalem District Police, they first heard what happened in the apartment at night.

The identity of the terrorist who murdered Ivan Tarnowski. "I was relieved to hear that this was not an ISIS cell that was roaming the neighborhood but a lone terrorist," said one of the neighbors in the building where the murder took place. "I went into the apartment and saw blood dripping everywhere.

The terrorist entered the building and went through a door until he came across one that was open, I asked them why you slept with an open door, he told me 'there have been four years here with an open door', he thought in Israel it was safe.

Then the forensics came here at first, because they thought it was a quarrel between them and only then did the GSS get into the picture.

"When they were released they went into the apartment one by one, I asked the policeman what was going on and it replied to me 'they are fine, they are fine' ... Shortly afterwards I saw them packing their bags and leaving the apartment, they said they were leaving the country to work in the Netherlands."
