Will you have a train for the egg hunt? Extended weekend obliges, the SNCF takes advantage of it to multiply the building sites and the works. See

By public transport, this extended Easter weekend promises to be particularly complicated.

Most of the lines are impacted by works.

SNCF is still taking advantage of the drop in attendance to maximize construction sites.

Remember to consult the various applications - RATP, SNCF or Via Navigo - which take disruptions into account.

Here is the detail.

RER B.

If you have to catch a plane at Roissy, take a taxi or a friend to accompany you.

RER B will be interrupted from Saturday April 16 to Monday April 18 inclusive, between Paris Gare-du-Nord and Charles-de-Gaulle 2 airport (Terminal 2).

No train will run, except on the other northern branch between Sevran-Livry and Mitry-Claye.

A replacement bus service is set up, but travel times are very long.

Allow 40 minutes between Gare-du-Nord and Aulnay.

And another 30 additional minutes between Aulnay and Roissy.

RER C.

Also avoid RER C!

The SNCF warns of a "weekend of major works".

From Saturday to Monday 5 p.m., trains will not run on three sections of the line: Viroflay-Rive-Gauche and Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, Invalides and Massy Palaiseau via Pont-de-Rungis and Invalides and Juvisy.

Only the branches between Juvisy - Versailles-Chantiers, Juvisy - Dourdan and Saint-Martin-d'Étampes are maintained.

Substitution buses have been put in place but, here too, journey times risk being greatly lengthened.

RER E.

Always from Saturday to Monday inclusive, on the RER E, trains will arrive and depart from Paris Est.

They will also not serve the stations of Haussmann-Saint-Lazare, Magenta, Pantin and Rosa-Parks in both directions.

Finally, no train runs either between Haussmann-Saint-Lazare and Tournan, and in the evening, from 10 p.m., between Saint-Lazare and Villiers.

Line K.

It is also cut, from Saturday to Monday inclusive, between Paris Nord and Mitry-Claye.

A replacement bus is set up between Paris Nord and Compans.

The line then operates on the rest of the journey, as far as Crépy-en-Valois, but with very reduced timetables.

Either a train… every two or even three hours in the middle of the day.

Line N.

The traffic is modified from 2 p.m. Saturday until Monday 5 p.m.

The circulation of trains is modified between Trappes and Paris Montparnasse in both directions of traffic, the station of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines is not served.

Finally, no train runs between Versailles-Chantiers and Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines.

Replacement buses are put in place.

Line P.

It is also interrupted on Saturday and Sunday, between Paris Est and Château-Thierry.

You have to take the trains that go to Meaux and then take the replacement buses that have been put in place.

Traffic will resume Monday morning, as for a public holiday.

Line U.

It is also cut to allow access work to Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines station.

From Saturday at the start of service until Monday, there will be no trains on the entire line.

Replacement buses will operate between Versailles Chantiers and Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines.

You can take line L for the rest of the journey.

Traffic will not resume until Tuesday morning.
