With a Torah scroll and a small shed: A man who wanted to pray in his boat on the Sea of Galilee was swept away and rescued safely
The controversial story began last night when the officers of the Marine Police Unit encountered in the heart of the lake a boat on which a small shed was installed and in which a man was sitting.
To the policemen, the cruiser replied that he had taken a Torah scroll with him and asked to pray and be alone.
However, strong westerly winds that blew in the area swept it from Dekel Beach to a distance of about 4 km.
