The Palestinian presidency called on the international community to intervene immediately to stop the continuous Israeli occupation aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The presidential spokesman, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, said in a statement today, carried by Wafa Agency, that the occupation forces' storming of the mosque and its assault on the stationed fighters is a dangerous development and a desecration of sanctities, noting that all international bodies are required to intervene to stop this aggression.

The presidency affirmed that the Palestinian people will not allow the occupation forces and settlers to desecrate Al-Aqsa Mosque and will defend it at all costs.

For its part, the Palestinian Ministry of Endowments confirmed in a statement that the occupation forces’ invasion of the mosque at dawn today, breaking the windows of the tribal prayer hall, storming it and attacking those stationed there is a dangerous matter that the international community must stand before it seriously and move to stop it for fear of its continuation and its dedication as a daily event aimed at Judaizing Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In turn, the Palestine Liberation Organization condemned the terrorist aggression launched by the occupation forces against Al-Aqsa Mosque and those who are in retrenchment, indicating that this aggression is a clear violation of human rights, stressing that the Palestinians will defend Al-Aqsa and will fail the occupation’s plans aimed at obliterating their identity and robbing them of their sanctities.
