On Tuesday evening, the heads of the Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip met, saying that they were "following developments and that we would make decisions to protect our people and the holy places."

The leaders called on their forces "to be on alert and ready to defend the Al-Aqsa Mosque - calling on our people in the West Bank, Jerusalem and the Arabs of Israel to come to the mosque this coming Friday."

At the same time, the Palestinian newspaper Al-Ayyam reported that there was agreement between the various organizations not to transfer popular resistance from the West Bank to the Gaza Strip.

According to the report, the factions in Gaza want to allow resistance in the West Bank to develop and grow and not allow Israel to transfer the campaign to Gaza.
