An Arab young woman stabbed a 47-year-old man, a resident of Haifa, at a memorial park in the city.

MDA staff who were called to the scene provided him with medical treatment and evacuated him to Rambam Hospital while he was conscious and suffering from a penetrating injury.

A 15-year-old Arab woman stabbed a 47-year-old man, a resident of Haifa, today (Friday) and slightly injured him.

A preliminary investigation of the case reveals that the background to the stabbing, in the city's memorial garden, is probably nationalist.

Police were called to the scene and the suspect was taken for questioning at the police station.

MDA staff who were called to the scene provided the man with medical treatment and evacuated him to Rambam Hospital in the city while he was conscious and suffering from a penetrating injury.

A senior MDA paramedic, Moshe Rosenthal, who was called to the scene, said that the wounded man was lying in the garden fully conscious and suffering from a penetrating and bleeding injury.

Three days ago, a 40-year-old Palestinian was shot dead after stabbing a police officer during a security check near a construction site in Ashkelon.

The police officer was slightly injured and was taken to Barzilai Hospital in the city.

In an incident five days ago, a terrorist lightly wounded a fighter in the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron and was shot dead by security forces.

Last week, a Palestinian terrorist from Jenin arrived in Tel Aviv and opened fire on blazers at a bar in Elka on Dizengoff Street.

Defenders, Tomer Morad and Barak Lupen were killed with them in the shooting.

At the end of a chase that lasted several hours, the terrorist was located near Clock Square in Jaffa and killed during an exchange of fire with GSS and YMCA fighters.

Nine people were injured in the attack, three of them in critical condition.
