Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas held talks tonight with international bodies, including the United States and Jordan, on what is happening in al-Aqsa.

In a statement, Ravidi noted that the PA also contacted Jordan tonight regarding the expected deployment of Israeli forces to al-Aqsa, during which "the worshipers were attacked."

A Jordanian Foreign Ministry spokesman stressed that "the invasion of the al-Aqsa Mosque and the al-Sharif boycott and the attack on worshipers constitute a violation" and demanded that the Israeli authorities remove the police and special forces from the compound immediately.
