The crimes of the Qasd militia backed by the American occupation forces in the Syrian Al-Jazirah region are exacerbating in light of the blatant international silence, the latest of which was the unjust siege imposed by that militia on the center of Al-Hasakah city a few days ago, preventing the people from obtaining foodstuffs and their livelihood, especially in light of the blessed month of Ramadan.
The Qasd militia, during the siege imposed by it last week, closed the entrances to the city of Hasakah and prevented the arrival of flour, foodstuffs and fuel to the people of the city, which led to a stifling crisis and an increase in demand and the cessation of the work of several bakeries in the city, which caused the deterioration of the living conditions of the people, and the work of generators stopped and electricity was cut off from Many neighborhoods.
There is no doubt that these behaviors have nothing to do with humanity, and they are a flagrant violation of all international and humanitarian laws and norms, and it would not have occurred without the support of the American occupation forces that cooperate with this criminal militia in looting and stealing oil and stealing agricultural crops from the island areas and other practices against the people of the island. Region.
This is not the first time that the Qasd militia has committed such a heinous crime. In January 2021, it carried out a suffocating siege of neighborhoods in the cities of Hasaka and Qamishli, and that siege caused great suffering to the people at the time.
The suffering of the people of Al-Jazira region as a result of the practices and behavior of this militia and its aggression is added to the crimes of the Turkish occupation and its terrorist mercenaries who, over the past years, have cut off drinking water many times from the people of Al-Hasakah, which caused a major life disaster for the population.
Certainly, the militia’s practices are inseparable from the schemes woven by the occupier of the area aimed at displacing and seizing the original owners of the lands in preparation for giving them to mercenaries, terrorists and their families in a scenario repetitive of what happened in the areas of Ras al-Ain in Hasaka countryside and Afrin in Aleppo countryside.
The Syrian government, within the framework of its keenness on the necessity of restoring the sovereignty of the state to all regions, has repeatedly affirmed that the continued illegal foreign presence, whether American or Turkish, on Syrian territory is a described attack on Syrian sovereignty, and demanded the exit of these forces from all Syrian territories in which they are present without any restriction or condition.
