Eleven people were killed and two others were injured in a traffic accident that occurred in the Tunis area of Babil Governorate in southern Iraq.
Alsumaria news website quoted the General Traffic Directorate in Iraq as saying in a statement today: "A minibus carrying teachers who were returning from Karbala city collided with a four-wheel drive vehicle, which led to the outbreak of fire in the two cars and the death of this number of victims."
According to preliminary investigations, the causes of the accident were due to the high speed and inattention of the driver of the car that collided with the bus.
