At the traditional time in early January, folk music lovers had to do without the “Between the Years” concert for two years.
But this year there is a catch-up date.
Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen
– Many friends of folk music know the benefit concert “Between the Years”, which usually takes place as part of the Christmas campaign “Leser helfen helfen” by Tölzer Kurier, Isar-Loisachbote and Geretsrieder Merkur every year at the beginning of January in the “Holzwirt” in Ascholding.
"Between the Years" means "Folk Music in May" this year
After this musical rendezvous had to be canceled in both 2021 and 2022 due to corona, the organizational team from the editorial staff of the Tölzer Kurier decided without further ado to move this year's event date from January to late spring.
So if you want to experience a nice evening of folk music again after the long Corona break and at the same time support a good cause, you've come to the right place on Wednesday, May 25th - the day before the Ascension Day holiday - at the "Holzwirt".
Toni Kometer moderates benefit concert in Ascholding
The Schliffboch-Musi from Kreuth, the Starnberger Fischersbuam (four songs), the Früah-auf-Harfenduo from Fischbach and Gmund, the Heuwinkl-Zwoagsang, the young workshop Violin music from Lenggries/Wegscheid and the district office dance music.
Toni Kometer leads through the program.
The concert on Wednesday, May 25th, starts at 8 p.m. in the “Holzwirt” in Ascholding.
Tickets for 14 euros each are available in advance from the Tölzer Kurier and Isar-Loisachbote/Geretsrieer Merkur offices and from Elisabeth Ertl in the Lenggrieser “Tracht- und Lodenstubn”.
