The Observatory recorded a temperature of about 22.2 degrees in the urban area at 11:30 this morning (16th). The temperature in general areas in Hong Kong was 3 to 4 degrees lower than that of the same period yesterday (15th).
The Observatory has issued a strong monsoon signal, and strong easterly winds are expected to blow in Hong Kong, with an average wind speed of over 40 kilometers per hour, with gusts reaching gale force at times.
It is forecast to be mostly cloudy today, dry in the afternoon, with fresh easterly winds and strong offshore and high winds.
The Observatory also expects that a broad cloud band will cover southern China in the middle of next week, and there will be a few showers from next Wednesday (20th), and due to the influence of the southerly air flow, the weather in Guangdong will be hot later next week, with a maximum temperature of 29 to 30 degrees. .
