The Nature and Parks Authority is preparing for 600,000 hikers in reserves and parks, and hundreds of thousands in the open areas during the Passover holiday.

The Authority expects that the crowded sites will be: Ein Gedi, Caesarea, Afek, Masada, Banias, Nahal Eyun, Eshkol Park, Tel Ashkelon, Stalactite Cave, Beit Guvrin, Einot Tzukim and Mamshit.
The places for the Ein Gedi Reserve have been booked in advance, but at the other sites there is more space and it is worth registering.
It is advisable to check the sites that have been filled in for any cancellations.

In the first part of the summer, until tomorrow evening, there will be heavy rain in most parts of the country. From Tuesday until the weekend the temperatures will drop, until by Thursday-Friday it will be even cooler than the season average.
The authority notes that "50 sites will be open until 18:00. At many sites we will commission guides and there will be lots of activities for children. It is going to be hot, and some of the activities will take place in the evening."
Meanwhile, about 120,000 hikers took advantage of the clear weather on Saturday and visited the various sites.
