Experiences at the beginning of the Easter holidays make you sit up and take notice.
Berlin – record number for the capital's airport, the opening of which had been delayed by years: According to a spokeswoman, more than 70,000 passengers have arrived or departed within one day for the first time since opening at Easter.
A spokeswoman said on Saturday morning that 73,000 passengers were counted on Good Friday.
“That is about two thirds of the passenger numbers that were counted on a peak day in the pre-Corona year at the then airports Tegel and Schönefeld.”
BER Airport expects a large rush over Easter
Until Easter Monday, she expects a large rush in both terminals.
"The holiday return wave is expected next weekend." There were no problems.

The first year of operation was a year of extremes for BER.
BER got bad marks from the passengers for sockets, gastronomy and hygiene.
