The heads of the defense establishment decided tonight (Saturday) that no closure will be imposed on Judea and Samaria during the holiday season, the Ministry of Defense announced.
The closure in Gaza and Judea and Samaria has been imposed in the last two days (Friday-Saturday).
The Minister of Defense, Bnei Gantz, this evening held a telephone assessment of the situation with the participation of the Chief of Staff, Lt. Col. Aviv Kochavi, the head of the Shin Bet, Ronen Bar, the deputy head of the Shin Bet, the head of the Armed Forces, the Chief of Staff Police operations.
Ganz wanted to express his appreciation for the precise and extensive activity throughout the weekend in all sectors of the security forces and noted that Israel will continue to act against terrorism in a targeted manner and restrain anyone who seeks to violate public order.
