The Secretary-General of the Arab Progressive Ba'ath Party in Jordan, Fouad Dabour, strongly condemned the Israeli occupation forces' storming of the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, their barbaric attacks on worshipers, their aggressive practices against Palestinians, their abuse and destruction of their property.
Dabour said in a statement today that the liberation of Jerusalem and Palestine will be through the unity of the Palestinian and Arab ranks and the resistance facing the Zionist enemy and its tyranny and brutality that we witnessed in Jerusalem, as we witnessed the heroic confrontation of our Palestinian people who destroyed the Zionist conspiracy, reaffirming that Jerusalem is Arab and will remain despite the might and brutality of the Zionists.
Rejecting the Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people, the Jordanian National Forum to support the resistance and defend the homeland called for an open popular movement through a sit-in near the embassy of the Israeli occupation entity in Amman.
The forum includes a coalition of nationalist and leftist parties, trade unions, patriotic and leftist figures, and civil society institutions.
In turn, the Jordanian trade unions demanded that serious and immediate decisions and measures be taken towards the Israeli occupation, including the expulsion of the Israeli ambassador and the cessation of all forms of cooperation with the occupation entity.
The professional unions called on the Arab federations to take a popular and union action to pressure Arab governments to stop normalization with the Israeli occupation.
In a similar statement, the Jordanian Communist Gathering denounced the Israeli occupation forces' storming of the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the attack on worshipers, pointing out that the Palestinian people are considered the vanguard of the Arab liberation movement in the face of the enemy and its aggressive projects.
The statement called for the need to intensify the effort in the context of the battle of national awareness through the formation of committees to support the Palestinian people and provide all forms of support to them and intensify the daily struggle to abolish the Wadi Araba treaty and expel the Zionist ambassador.
The statement also stressed that the resistance in all its forms is the only option that charts the way for the future.
